STARLINK NOW AVAILABLE FROM TELSTRA AUSTRALIA

The new Starlink 3 kit is now available from Telstra Australia for home internet services in Australia with typical 50 Mbps download speed and unlimited data at a kit purchase price of $599 (Australian Dollar) and a monthly subscription of $120 (Australian Dollar) per month. The kit is for self-installation.  If you need help then find your nearest installer in our Starlink Professional Installers Directory (Australia pages) and hire them at your own cost.

The kit includes a Telstra smart modem with:

    a) WiFi 6

    b) 4x 1GbE home network ports

    c) Automatic backup to the Telstra 4G network (if 4G is available in the location). Built-in Telstra SIM card. Works when Starlink is off for whatever reason.

    d) An old fashion two-wire telephone port to connect your old (or new) home phones with unlimited free calls to Australian fixed line and mobile phone numbers. You’ll get a free Telstra phone number for that.

Tell you, this looks like a pretty good deal. Add a UPS or a solar panel with battery and you will be always connected.
